It’s a popular adventure tour for both overnight tourism and cruise tourism. Cave Tubing adventure may be considered one of Belize’s most fun tour there is to offer. Cave tubing can start from anywhere in Belize. But, with our company based out of San Ignacio ours starts as a San Ignacio tour. However, please bear in mind that we do offer pickups and drop-offs around the country to conduct this adventure tour.

Our Cave tubing adventure starts from San Ignacio at 9:00 am. If you’re staying outside of San Ignacio town please asked about your specific pickup time for this tour. From San Ignacio you’ll take on a 1 hour 15 minute drive to the park parking lot. Here you’ll be provided with your necessary equipment.

In addition, your guide will give you a quick briefing on how his tour will carry out; along with the do’s and don’t of the cave tour. This section takes about 20 minutes by the time everyone is geared and ready to start the 30 minute hike. Whenever this adventure combined with Zipline you’ll conduct your zipline first before the tubing. We highly recommending doing the combo as the jungle zipline quite spectacular.

How’s the Cave Tubing Adventure conducted?

Cave Tubing AdventureYou’ll be floating in and out caves of Belize for approximately 2.5 hours. Depending on the water level this some times it’s slower and may be quicker when there’s some level of current. However, you’d safely strapped together with the guide in control; and in certain circumstances where the  guest feels confident they may free float.

Kids normally never free floats; your child has to be at least 48 inches to be able to conduct this tour. On this fun river cave float you’ll see many formations hanging from the roof of these natural caves. You’ll also see some Mayan pottery which your guide will point out as he give the history and information on these stellar cave.

Next you’ll exit the water at the end of the last cave explored, however if you desire to take a short swim before exiting you’re more than welcome. After exiting you’ll be shown where the restrooms for you to change into your dry clothing.
